Overall, the market shows a positive trend to return to the centuries-tested values. It should be noted that the revival of the tradition there, is not only windows but also for many other construction and decoration materials selection and people more often prefer expensive, natural materials.

Wooden window manufacturing process is considerably longer and labor-intensive than, for example, plastic profile windows, which can be made in few minutes. And that is the main reason why wooden windows cost a lot more then plastic ones.
The second factor affecting prices is that wooden windows(durvis) made of natural material has been tested for several centuries – but after the latest technologies produced wooden windows, as claimed by manufacturers, should serve one hundred years or even more.
So long life yet does not prejudge any plastic window manufacturer, not at least because the plastic windows - world knows only a little bit more than half a century.
